• Dual-Activation Capability
  The system is activated using your existing Ford keyless entry remote by pressing the lock button 3 times and the optional Viper® long-range remote upgrade (offered during checkout).
   
• Automatic Heat/Defrost/AC Activation
  Just leave your climate controls on the last setting when parking your truck, and the system will automatically turn them on shortly after you activate the remote starter system.
   
• 15-Minute Remote Start Run Time
  The remote start will automatically shut down after 15 minutes has elapsed.
   
• Active Keyless Entry
  You won't lose your ability to remotely unlock the vehicle's doors while it's running by the remote starter, so you won't have to use the key to get into the vehicle.
   
• Remote Start Cancel
  You can shut down the remote starter sooner the same way you activated it.
   
• Active Key Takeover
  The remote starter stays running when the driver's door is opened, so you won't have to manually restart your truck with the key every time after you remote-start it.
   
• Parking Lights On While Running
  The system will activate the vehicle's auto lights for visual indication that the vehicle is running via the remote starter.
   
• Information Display Control
  Features like climate control, heated seats/heated steering wheel activation, and remote start disable/enable can be controlled via the vehicle's information dashboard display.
   
• Long-Range Remotes Upgradeable
  Decide now or purchase later if you would like a bit more remote start activation range. Plug-in upgrade any time during or after installation.
   
• Fail-Safe Design
  In the rare event of a component failure, the system cannot prevent you from starting the vehicle normally with the smart key FOB.
   
• No Horn Beep Confirmation (Silent Activation) Option

Safe & Secured Remote Start Operation

This system has the same restrictions as an OEM remote starter. In some vehicles, there may be a limit of only 1 or 2 remote starts before needing to manually start the vehicle to allow additional remote start activations. Refer to the vehicle owner’s manual for the specific limitations of your vehicle. Standard safety and security features that meet the equivalent Ford part number ML3Z-19A361-A.

• Brake Pedal Monitoring for Security
  If the vehicle's brake pedal is stepped on before the ignition is turned on, the remote starter will immediately shut down.
   
• OEM Hood-Pin Monitoring for Safety
  The remote start will not activate when the vehicle's hood is open, shut down upon opening, or also prevent activation when it is detected as defective or has been damaged.
   
• Engine Performance Monitoring
  The system will detect any current or stored DTCs, which will prevent the remote start from activating.
   
• Low Fuel Detection
  The remote start will not activate when the low fuel light is on.
