► TECHNICAL SERVICE BULLETIN: Your MUSTANG's BCM must have OEM remote start upgrade capability for any Aftermarket or Ford OEM add-on remote start system to work. If the remote start feature setting cannot be found in your dash gauge cluster or radio menu settings, it can be confirmed by accessing the vehicle's BCM settings menu via an OBD2 FORScan and making sure the option is in the list and that the setting is turned ON. Or, by contacting a Ford dealer's service department using your VIN number to see if the dealer can install an OEM remote starter on your specific Mustang. When they confirm that they can, it means this system can also be installed on the vehicle, but you still may have to have the option turned ON in the BCM. Safe & Secure Operation

Industry-Leading Quality: SAE-compliant, OEM-grade components that meet all Ford OEM safety and operating regulations. Standard safety and security features include but are not limited to the following:

• Brake Pedal Monitoring: If the vehicle's brake pedal is stepped on before the ignition is turned on, the remote starter will immediately shut down.
   
• OEM Hood-Pin Monitoring: The remote start will not activate when the vehicle's hood is open, shut down upon opening, and also prevent activation when detected defective or the vehicle is not equipped with an OEM open hood pin switch.
   
• Engine Performance Monitoring: The system will detect any current or stored DTCs, which will prevent the remote start from activating.
   
• Low Fuel Detection: The remote start will not activate when the low fuel light is on.
   
• Low Battery Monitoring: The system will not activate when the vehicle's battery is detected at 11.9V or lower.
